The world may have a different outlook at the moment and the times are changing, but in saying this, change can also bring opportunity as well as a fresh start.
We may have found ourselves staying in, rather than jet setting and venturing out and about. Many of us may have reconnected to the old fashion ways of cooking instead of dining out (some of our team rediscovered a few favourite cookbooks and reminisced on the flavours of their mother’s cooking). There may even be classic films on replay and upbeat playlists resounding in our living rooms.
Home workouts, daily nature walks and mixing it up with homemade cocktails - whatever helps keep a routine or sense of normality, allow yourself to embrace and shift into the beauty of slow and reconnecting to ourselves.
We started sharing on our social media a window into our team’s thoughts of how they are getting through this season. We will continue to do this over our social platforms as well as our blog.
So, for now, take some comfort in knowing that at the end of the day, we really are all in this together.
Our team when WFH and finding new ways of small but meaningful pleasures.
Brig our Co-founder and Creative Director currently living in Sag Harbor New York, shares a photo diary of her daily walks and embracing the fresh air. She reflects and appreciates Spring being just around the corner and watching the leaves gradually come back on the trees. With the produce farms reopening their doors to supply the local community, it’s a lovely way to not only get fresh fruit and veggies but to also support local – knowing the community is looking after each other.
Lauren, our Brand Manager, is a big local supporter in her area, Northern Beaches Sydney. From veggie box pick-ups at the local café to ensuring any business near her that is offering delivery or online service is being promoted. A day at home may incur watching film classics and reading poetry from Rupi Kaur.

Our Production manager, Janelle, also based in the Northern Beaches of Sydney, keeps her fitness up in virtual style. With daily home workouts on the Nike fitness app, to stepping back into the calm with meditation and yoga practices in her living room. To keep inspired, Janelle makes a quick visit to her local florist for a flower pick up that brings a little colour to her space.
