The Adrift upcycled clutch, with Jesse Arifien
A few months ago, we introduced you to Jesse Arifien, a stylist and creative director who had returned home to Australia with her family, after a lengthy stint working in Los Angeles. Now based in Byron Bay, and with two young, boisterous kids in tow, Jesse's personal style is as effortless and relaxed as ever, but always with an unfailing sense of sophistication. When Jesse checked into Byron's Hotel Marvell for a staycation, she showed us how to style the Adrift upcycled clutch - an accessory that complements Jesse's approach to dressing beautifully - in three distinct looks. A staycation wardrobe capsule, if you will.
By the water: For a more relaxed look, I chose earthy tones to complement the texture of the bag and to lift the black tone. This brown one piece swim suit and wrap are both super comfortable and classic enough for a summer lunch or a day at the beach.
On the move: I lean into activewear for my go to uniform, and this legging and crop bralet feel easy enough to wear everyday yet I feel put together. A long sleeve tee loosens up the look and I’ve added a grey sneaker and sock.
Cocktail hour: The Adrift clutch is the perfect size to carry all my essentials. For a more dressed up look, I have styled monochrome classic and effortless separates back with the clutch. I have added a necklace for a pop of emerald green and a black casual heel.
