With over a decade of experience working in the fashion industry, Jesse Arifien has made her mark as a stylist and creative director, working with celebrities, leading US brands, and renowned editorial publications. After a number of years based in Los Angeles, Jesse now calls Australia's Byron Bay home, where she balances styling projects with family life, with her husband and two children. It was in Byron that Jesse, alongside her sister, dreamt up I AM IBU — an elevated clothing brand designed with motherhood in mind, blending style with effortless wearability.
We asked Jesse to style the new Solstice mini tote with three distinct looks, to highlight its versatility. From everyday ease to refined evening dressing, Jesse’s approach is all about investing in timeless pieces that equip you to move seamlessly and stylishly through life's moments.
I am loving oversized denim at the moment and I've paired a textured sleeveless sweater over my staple white tee, to soften the outfit. The tonal browns in the sweater work really well back with the tote. I finished it off with a low open-toed grey heel, for a going out look.

I live in activewear and this wool bodysuit paired with these bike shorts feel comfortable enough for my pilates class, yet still make for a stylish look for everyday. The cream and ocean blues complement the classic shade of the tote, with the brown sneakers also tying back with the cacao brown.
Living near the ocean, light weight cotton shirts and pants are essentials in my wardrobe. Here I've paired a muted pink shirt with elastic waisted white trousers, with a pop of red from my swimwear adding interest to the overall look.
