About the collaboration
As two artists come together, Artist and Photographer Nigel Scott and State of Escape’s Creative Director Brigitte MacGowan have artfully curated an exclusive capsule featuring prints created by Nigel from his body of work – Blue Dark Blue. To celebrate the partnership, this limited-edition collection has been handcrafted in small quantities which will be showcased in a pop-up exhibition in Ron Herman, Sendagaya, Japan and available online from 11.6.22.

Artist bio
Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Nigel Scott is an internationally-renowned artist. In the mid-1970s he began his photography career in Toronto and soon moved to Paris where he embarked on fashion photography while pursuing his artistic work. It was his travels as an artist and photographer in Japan where he developed the blue series. "I was taken by the colour of the ocean. The Blue. Its simplicity continues to inspire me."
